[sas-users] Fw: Need help reading in a strange text file

A little more information on the file structure would be useful.

Do the words  Back.BESTIM and Back.CPINFO.CP1ADD1 refer to the different 
sections of the form?

For the record 20110302090254306367     01:afkljklmvnsdiviweergfbdfgsf

Is 20110302090254306367  a survey unit ID?
does "01" identify the name of a variable in the section  and does 
"dskladklsfnvsiweergfbdfgsf" give the value of the variable.

Hi all!  Can someone please help?
 
I need to read in a text file to SAS that is a format I've never worked 
with before.  Lines of data are segmented by headers, which specify what 
variables and section of our survey correspond to the data being provided. 
 Below this message is a snippet of the text file.  I substituted 
confidential data with characters I randomly typed in, which you will see 
after each ":".
 
Once this data is read into SAS it is pertinent that each header is it's 
own column in the data set so I know which string of data matches to which 
variable/section of the survey.  Any help would be much appreciated!!
